Bandai Choi – Registered Clinical Psychologist
About Bandai Choi
I’m a Clinical Psychologist working with adults and older teens on trauma, mood, anxiety and neurodiversity. Sessions are available in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, in-person or via telehealth.
How we work
-
Warm and practical. We start with what matters most to you now, then agree on a simple plan you can use between sessions.
-
Evidence-based, tailored. I draw from EMDR, ACT, EFT and CBT. We choose what fits your goals and pace.
-
Collaborative and transparent. You’ll know why we’re doing something and how we’ll review progress.
Areas I often help with
-
ADHD and related executive-function challenges
-
Effects of childhood trauma and attachment patterns
-
Anxiety, low mood, stress and sleep
Neurodiversity & ADHD
-
Strengths-based, non-pathologising. We explore how your brain works and build on what already helps.
-
Assessment & coordination. Structured ADHD Assessment, clear summaries for your doctor if a medical review is needed, and practical recommendations for study/work supports.
-
Masking & rejection sensitivity. Tools for self-advocacy, boundaries, and kinder self-talk.
