Professional Background

Mr. Wa Chi CHOI is a highly qualified Clinical Psychologist registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Australian Psychological Society (APS). He also holds registrations in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Hong Kong. Mr. CHOI earned his Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology and Social Work from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

He is also associate fellow of the Hong Kong Psychological Society and a registered EMDR therapist, having completed extensive training in various evidence-based treatments. He has received training in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) directly from Dr. Leslie Greenberg, and in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) from its founder, Dr. Steven C. Hayes. His diverse expertise ensures that clients receive the most effective and personalized care possible.

Mr. CHOI specializes in addressing complex issues such as childhood trauma, attachment problems, behavioral addiction, and crisis intervention.
